You have three options. Interlock is the best in my humble opinion.

Single jersey, interlock and eyelet are the three most popular sublimation sportswear fabric made in Vietnam.

Single jersey knitting structure is the most well known because most standard undergarment t-shirts use single jersey. If the shirts are made with cotton then single jersey holds it form well but when the yarn is polyester the fabric tends to be light and flimsy. It does not hold it's form well.

Interlock knitting structure is very similar to single jersey but holds its form better and has a smoother surface. It fits better and the print pops out better due to a flatter surface. The only problem with interlock sportswear sublimation fabric is that it does not breathe well so when the fabric is soaked in sweat the fabric tends to stick to our skin.

Eyelet knitting structure is very common because it breathes well due to the small eyelet openings in the fabric structure. In warm climates eyelet sublimation sportswear fabric made in Vietnam is very popular. Only problem is that the artwork is not as coherent since there are holes in the fabric.

The best polyester fiber is made with virgin PET and DTY spun with 75 Denier and 72 Filament.

PET = polyethylene terephthalate. It is the basic building block of polyester fiber. It is bought as white pellets and then gets melted before being made into yarn.

DTY = drawn textured yarn. After the PET pellets are melted down they are then drawn and textured into very thin and long strings of plastic basically. How much it is drawn and textured is what give DTY its unique characteristics compared to POY, FDY or ITY polyester yarn.

All filament polyester yarn used to make sublimated sportswear fabric is measured in denier and filament. Denier essentially is the diameter of a fiber and filament is the # of filaments in one yarn.
